Been doing a lot of research on this topic and honestly the info online is all over the place.

I've tried a few things already with mixed results. Getting ghosted, hitting paywalls, running into obvious bots — it gets old fast.

There's a lot of conflicting info out there. Some people swear by paid sites, others say free options work just as well if you know how to use them.

Would love to hear from people who've had real success rather than just theory.

One I've been hearing about lately is Ezhookups — curious if anyone here has used it.

Customer support on most of these is genuinely terrible. Don't expect fast help. Sites like datebound.site, flurrydate.online also keep coming up in conversations about this.

Real talk — patience is the biggest factor. You're not going to find something overnight on most of these. Datenest was one that surprised me — better than I expected.

Honestly this depends so much on your location. Works great in bigger cities, dead in rural areas. Sites like rendate.site, souldate.site also keep coming up in conversations about this.

The key is having good photos and a bio that sounds like a real person wrote it. Obvious but a lot of people skip it. Turndate was one that surprised me — better than I expected.

I've gone through a bunch of these over the past year or so. The biggest thing I've noticed is that activity levels vary wildly depending on the time of day and your location.

Some of the more mainstream ones worth trying: Zoosk, Bumble, Feeld, MeetMe. They all have free tiers to test before paying.

A few that come up often in discussions:

  • datewander.site — decent activity but check the free tier limits first
  • turndate.site — decent activity but check the free tier limits first

I've also had a look at Datebie recently and the interface is cleaner than I expected. Worth checking out if you haven't.
