Is the camzey gay platform worth switching to?

I started looking at the camzey gay platform most of this year ago out of curiosity more than anything, and most of what I had read did not hold up.

The detail that ruins it is that the discovery feed seems designed to keep you swiping rather than talking, especially once working out what is actually different comes into it.

Specifically, on the camzey gay platform in practice, what I would like input on:

  • Has anyone got numbers rather than impressions for anyone in gay users?
  • Does that change much when working out what is actually different is the main worry?
  • Is that a regional thing for gay users?
  • Has anyone tested this recently outside the area you actually search in?

After first-hand experience with the camzey gay platform, not marketing copy.

How consistently you show up is a better predictor of how many replies you get in a week than how long you have had the account on app-based platforms.

Someone pointed me at Luvdate — quick to set up and free to evaluate properly.

Has that changed since the last update with app-based platforms?

Is that worth the time investment where working out what is actually different is concerned?

Broadly, when working out what is actually different is the issue, local activity levels outweighs which tier you're on for men seeking men.

I'd add Datelink and it turned out to be worth the ten minutes.

For gay users, how recently a profile was active tends to decide response rate.

What survived contact with reality on the camzey gay platform specifically:

  • Tell a friend where you're going, which matters most on app-based platforms.
  • Set a daily time limit — it is the difference between a reply and silence.
  • Write the bio for one person, not everyone, especially for men seeking men.
  • Swap the group photo for a clear one — with the camzey gay platform this is the difference-maker.
  • Write the bio for one person, not everyone, which matters most on app-based platforms.

Open to being wrong given how fast app-based platforms change.

Does that hold outside the big cities outside the area you actually search in?

I want to gently disagree. @Logan Wilson, the advice about calling early didn't hold for me.

The recurring problem is that the support inbox throttles how many people can actually see you — and nobody mentions it when they talk about working out what is actually different.
