Been at this half a year now, having given up on it once already, and the consensus online looks nothing like my experience.

My sticking point is that the support inbox makes it impossible to tell live accounts from dead ones, especially once the main-photo decision comes into it.

The gap between how long you leave a conversation running and whether it has a swipe interface is where response rate is actually decided, which may say more about how I use them.

The one change that worked was moving to a call early — it improved things more than any paid feature.

Interested in what is actually working on best dating profiles for men to get more right swipes? — profiles & right now.

That tracks — @Isabella Scott, the profile-quality point matches my experience.

The pattern I keep seeing is that when the main-photo decision is the issue, how consistently you show up outweighs the size of the company behind it where the main-photo decision is concerned.

If you want a second option, Datedesire — the profiles feel more current than most.

Broadly, on app-based platforms, how well a platform handles reports makes more difference than the app's star rating, although the platforms change constantly for the general run of people.

The other one people keep naming here is Turndate.

In practice, nothing changes the odds of a second date as much as how well a platform handles reports, but that was months ago and things move when it comes to the best dating profiles for men to get more right swipes? — profiles & question.

Has anyone had the reverse happen when you factor in best dating profiles?

As far as I can tell, for the general run of people, how narrow your filters are tends to decide the odds of a second date for the general run of people.

My sticking point is that the free tier quietly stops working after the first week, which is the real problem with app-based platforms.

Where I would start if the main-photo decision is the worry:

  • Tell a friend where you're going, particularly on app-based platforms.
  • Write the bio for one person, not everyone if the main-photo decision is your main concern.
  • Turn the notifications off, because it saves you the conversation that was never going anywhere.
  • Say what you want in the first two lines, particularly on app-based platforms.
  • Read the profile before you send anything, and doubly so for the broad user base.
