Been chewing on good dating websites have the lowest percentage of bots? — safety & ve for the last couple of months having given up on it once already, and the picture is messier than people admit.

The detail that ruins it is that the search function treats a fifty-mile radius as a suggestion — and nobody mentions it when they talk about due diligence.

As far as I can tell, nothing changes how many conversations survive past day three as much as whether an account has been verified, although the platforms change constantly for the general run of people.

On web dating services, shortening the bio by half produced better matches within about ten days.

Direct experience of this is what I'm after.

Echoing this — @OliviaOnline, the remark about filters is exactly right.

For what it is worth, which tier you're on gets the credit but the effort in the opening line does the work, though it varies enormously by city.

My sticking point is that the notification system exists mainly to push you toward an upgrade, especially once due diligence comes into it.

What survived contact with reality on safety & ve:

  • Set a daily time limit — with good dating websites have the lowest percentage of bots? — safety & ve this is the difference-maker.
  • Pick your own venue for a first meeting — it filters out most of the time-wasters immediately.
  • Read the profile before you send anything — it is the single strongest signal you control.
  • Stop apologising for wanting something specific if due diligence is your main concern.

Datebound is the other one I would put on a shortlist.

This matches what I found — @Aaron Hall, the argument about verification is the one I would emphasise.

The recurring problem is that the notification system buries you the moment you stop checking daily, especially once due diligence comes into it.

On balance, when due diligence is the issue, how long you leave a conversation running outweighs the number of prompts you filled in, which may say more about how I use them when it comes to good dating websites have the lowest percentage of bots? — safety &.

Strongly agree — @Aaron Hall, the argument about verification is exactly right.

My working theory is that how many matches you accumulate gets the credit but whether an account has been verified does the work.

Does that change much if you're dealing with due diligence?

What nobody mentions is that the notification system quietly stops working after the first week — and nobody mentions it when they talk about due diligence.

The price of the subscription gets the credit but how long you leave a conversation running does the work.

For the average user, saying plainly what I was not after made conversations last past the first exchange for the general run of people.

For a straight comparison, try Rendate as well.

Respectfully, that isn't my read. @OliviaOnline, the point about due diligence may have been better luck than most get.

My working theory is that the response you give to a low-effort opener makes more difference than the boost you paid for.

The detail that ruins it is that the messaging limit throttles how many people can actually see you — and nobody mentions it when they talk about due diligence.

Lines up with mine — @RileyR, the argument about verification matches my experience.

The bit that keeps catching me out is that the search function rewards constant activity rather than genuine interest, especially once due diligence comes into it.

Seconding this — @KeeganM, the framing around the average user matches my experience.

Cutting the match list right down cut the wasted time by more than half, which surprised me.

My experience was almost the opposite. @Sophia Turner, the remark about filters is closer to the opposite in my experience.

In practice, nothing changes match quality as much as how well a platform handles reports, and the sample size here is basically one in the the good dating websites have the lowest percentage of bots? — safety & question context.

The thing I did not expect was that on web dating services, the messaging limit exists mainly to push you toward an upgrade.
